We had a talk with another youngster which will now be able to compete at top level alongside other players. RedRush will be turning 16 in November, which means without Fortnite’s new policy on age requirements, he would not be able to play. Fortunately for him, Fortnite recently lowered the age requirement to 13+.

RedRush is mainly a solo player, and he did show himself by placing 141st in the Winter Royal, even though he knew he could not compete, and since then he has come a long way in terms of strategy and believes he should be able to compete among top 100 in solos. This will lead to him going to the World Cup in solos, which is his primary target. RedRush has been focusing on solos, but will now start playing more duo’s as well, as this will increase the chances of him going to the World Cup.

Some of the new requirements from Epic is that the legal guardian accepts him playing, and RedRush legal guardian is his parents. His parents are going to let him compete, as they believe this can make their son happier, as this is something he enjoys doing. They are very supportive, and also let him go to lans such as Northspawn in Sweden.

RedRush also has his focus on his school, as he will be starting in college this fall, which means he would need good grades to get into the right school, but he managed to find a balance which will let him play at a high level and do well in school.

RedRush will start training even harder now, as he before knew he would not be able to compete, he now knows that every game counts in terms of him getting better at the game, and he will be sweating each game to improve the most, now that he can compete.

If RedRush wins any money in the upcoming Fortnite tournaments, he would be happy as he wants to share some of the money with his parents and knows what big impact money can have in one’s life.

We wish RedRush the best of luck in the future!
