Itemm was one of the players who attended a big tournament for the first time. Itemm have never been playing in Skirmish or any other big tournaments. This meant he went into ESL being a F/A alongside Alliance player Tommo. But Itemm proved himself at ESL, by being one of the top placing free agents. He managed to get 15th in the duo competition with Tommo, which secured him 4000$ and placed 11th in the solo tournament bringing home 2000$.

Itemm believes he could have done more at ESL, at some point he was 6th in the solo competition, but dropped down to the 11th place. But generally Itemm is happy with his results, as this was his first LAN, and he really did show up. Itemm knows that he has potential to achieve more in the future. The mindset was one of the factors for his high placements, as keeping your head cool helps you in tournaments like this.

This was the first LAN experience for Itemm, and he was extremely happy with the organizers as they introduced a new point system, which was beneficial for playing consistent. Itemm hopes that similar point system will come in the future, and with Fortnites Gauntlet test tournament, it seems to be the case.

The social experience

One of the things that ESL will be remembered for will be the social experience. Itemm was just one of many who enjoyed meeting his friends for the first time in real life. This just shows that even if they are competitors, they have a good bound between the players.

We hope this continues in the future, however we also hope that there will be developed some friendly rivalries in the scene.

The future for Itemm

The future is bright for the talented player. He manged to get top 20 at his first big event in both competitions. And if he keeps grinding and developing at the pace he is now, he will without any doubt be a contender to a spot at the World Cup.

In terms of an organization, there can not be a long way until he gets the right offer. We hope that he in the future gets to play for a good organization, perhaps even The Alliance alongside his duo Tommo.
