We had a talk with the Swedish free agent Coffeh who attended ESL Katowice, about how he experienced the event.

Coffeh was playing alongside Beehive in the duos competition and they managed to secure 30th place, which meant they were not going to bring home any money. In the solo competition Coffeh came in at 63rd, which again meant he did not win any of the prize money.

Not happy at all

Coffeh is disappointed in his own performance at ESL, as he was aiming for the top 10. Which he clearly did not end up achieving. However this was an event where many players were aiming for the top 10, but did not manage to achieve it due to the general high level of competition.

However even though the results were disappointing, he managed to learn something from the event. Coffeh learned “tilting” because of bugs in the game will not do him any good, so he will be trying to minimize the “tilt” over factors he cant control anyways. He also learned the landing spot is really important, you need a place where you could secure loot without taking any early engagements.

Being at a LAN

Coffeh is the 2nd one from the right.

Even though the tournament did not go as hoped for Coffeh, he managed to have an amazing experience meeting his friends at the event. For some of the players it was their first LAN, and the first chance they had to meet each other. Coffeh enjoyed spending time with them, and enjoyed the LAN even though his performance was not as expected.

Why was ESL good?

Coffeh believes that the staff at ESL was great, and everything was well prepared, and getting to play on some high end computers which ensured top PC performance in the game was really good.

However, Coffeh was not impressed by the food at the hotel, and the limited time between matches. Most of the time between matches they spent in the lobby so they could not get any major breaks during the tournament.

The future for Coffeh

Coffeh would not disclose if he had any pending offers from organizations, however we believe that Coffeh can improve in the future, and will be able to sign an organization at some point.

Coffeh will be focusing on streaming more in the future, and trying to prepare himself the best possible way for the World Cup.

We wish Coffeh the best of luck!
